[Beginners Tutorial] ALL-IN-ONE TUTORIAL FOR MiBox (Standard) (Lan Port)

Requirements:

• MiBox 1s (Standard)
• Micro-usb cable
• SnapPea

HOW TO CONNECT TO PC (Windows)?

• Connect MiBox to power source.
• Power it off by remote.
• Connect Mibox to then PC via regural micro usb cable that comes with every phone now-a-days.
• Download SnapPea.
• Install it on PC.
• Open it. (Make sure PC is connected to internet.)
• Then power on the Mibox by remote.
• After sometime you can see MiBox is recognized by SnapPae.
• Congrats !!! Your MiBox Driver is installed.

HOW TO ROOT

• Download RootGenius.
• Connect your MiBox to PC. Make sure it is connected by opening SnapPea.
• Exit SnapPea and open RootGenious and press Root.

       

HOW TO INSTALL APPS

Procedure 1 (Using SnapPae / Moborobo/ Mobogenie)

1. Open SnapPae
2. Go to apps



3. Press "Install Apps"



4. Done !!!  :)
Prcedure 2 (Using usb disk, Mi Box without connecting to PC) 

• Copy all the apps you want to install to your pendrive.
• Connect MiBox to TV.
• Connect USB to Mibox
• Then open pendrive in TV using remote controll.
• Install all the apps !!! :)

MUST HAVE APPS TO INSTALL IN MIBOX

• moreLocale (It will change user installed apps and some part of the system to English) 

• ES Explorer (File explorer)
• XMBC (Download ARM version, You can add many TV, music, radio, and movie channels even youtube)
• Flash Player 
• MX Player
• IndiaTv (Watch Indian channels) 
• Cloud TV

REMOTE CONTROLL

You can use your mobile as remote controll using wifi.
