How to Install CWM recovery image on HTC Desire 700

HTC Desire 700

Prerequestis :

-Before doing anything you have to backup your HTC Desire 700 Data See this guide here

1-You need to enable USB debugging mode which is deactivated by default. (you can skip it )

2-Your lenovo vibe shot should have 70-80% charge remaining.

Step by step root :

1-You Have to root you phone Go Here to find how to root your HTC Desire 700
2-download custom CWM recovery image by SPSPaWn (all credits go to the author)
CWMRecovery_v1_cm11.img
3- Flash recovery image via fastboot

– put CWMRecovery_v1_cm11.img in the same folder as your fastboot program.

– turn your phone off. then press power button while holding the volume down to boot into bootloader. Select fastboot.

– run your fastboot program.

fastboot flash recovery CWMRecovery_v1_cm11.img

4-boot into recovery mode.

– to boot into recovery mode. Turn off your phone. Press Power + Volume down buttons at the same time, then choose boot to recovery.
