[Mi 3/1s/Mi 4]SETUP FASTBOOT IN YOUR PC TO FLASH ANYTHING FROM PC

This tutorial for those device which has fastboot mode. You can enter fastboot mode by long press "power and vol -" simultaneously, when device is in switched off mode.

This tutorial tell you how to setup fastboot in your pc so that:

• You can recover your mobile from dead state
• You can flash any *.img file like recovery from the PC during you stuck in boot logo.

STEPS:

- Download and install fastboot driver fom here.

- Now set the path to fastboot. (This step is required for once only) It basically installed in "C:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot" (for 32bit OS)
     * Rightclick on My Computer.

 
     * Then Advanced System Settings

 

     *  Then Environment Variables

 

     * Then Path

 

     * paste the path "C:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot" (without " ") Make sure you have added a semicolon ( ; ) before this path. 

 

- Now on mobile long press power button + volume - button simultaneously to enter into fastboot mode.

 


Note: Always keep a backup of data in PC or Micloud.
