[MIUI] TRANSFER FILES IN BETWEEN YOUR LAPTOP AND MOBILE (WIRELESS)

HOW TO TRANSFER DATA BETWEEN LAPTOP AND MOBILE?

Requirement:Your PC and mobile should be in local area network / under same access point.

ARCHITECTURE 1

"PC AND MOBILE CONNECTED TO SAME ACCESS POINT"

Steps:1. Open Explore app of miui




2. Press FTP



3. Make sure you are connected to wifi access point 




4. Press Start Server



5. See the ftp address here ftp://192.168.1.36:2121

6. In your Laptop open My Computer and write this ftp address and press enter.



7. Viola! Now you can see the content of your SDCARD.

"MOBILE IS DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO PC (NO EXTRA ACCESS POINT NEEDED)"

How to connect mobile directly to your PC having wifi facility?

Requirements:

1. PC have wifi enabled.

2. A software called Connectify Hotspot installed in the PC and running.

Steps:

1. Download Connectify Hotspot. You can buy pro version. It is used to make your pc a hotspot / access point so that u can connect to pc from mobile. Using connectify you can also do internet in your mobile, if your pc is connected to internet.

2. Install and Run Connectify and connect your mobile to wifi produced by connectify.

3. Once your are connected to the pc through connectify, you can follow the above method of ftp use.

4. Done !!! Enjoy.
